How to Set up Schedules & Screen Time Limits in zoobly?
Hello zoobly parent 👋
You can set limits on the amount of time your child uses their device using the schedules and screen time limits features in zoobly — turning digital hours into opportunities for balance, learning, and fun.
You can help your child develop healthy digital habits by managing access to apps and websites while still allowing freedom and joy.
With zoobly's Scheduling feature, you can:
- Set Daily Free Time – Limit how much fun screen time your child gets each day, with built-in content filters.
- Use School & Sleep Schedules – Automatically block access during school hours or bedtime.
- Create Custom Schedules – Set your own rules to fit your family’s routine.
- Turn on Vacation Mode – Relax screen limits during holidays or special occasions.
Here’s how to get started:
Daily Free Time:
This is your child’s daily allowed screen time for fun and entertainment. You choose how long it lasts and which apps or websites are allowed during that time. When the time is up, the device locks automatically —unless you choose to add more time.
To set it up:
Go to Scheduling > Select your child > Daily Free Time > Adjust screen time limits and restrictions > Save.

School & Sleep Schedules (built-in):
Zoobly's preset schedules help you manage your child’s daily routine with ease—and you can customize them to fit your family's needs.
School Schedule: Block distracting content during school hours to help your child stay focused. You can allow Free Time during lunch or block everything completely if needed.
To set it up:
Go to Scheduling > School, choose the days and times, adjust restrictions, and tap Save.

Sleep Schedule: Set up a Sleep Schedule for healthy routines. Pause access to their devices at bedtime to support better sleep.
To set it up:
Go to Scheduling > Sleep, choose the days and times, and tap Save.

Custom Schedules: Your family, your routine
Create schedules that fit your child’s unique day—your way.
To create a custom schedule, go to Scheduling > Add, name it, pick the days and times, set your preferences, and hit Save.
You can create multiple schedules to match your child’s activities during the day.

Vacation Mode: Take a break from screen limits
Easily relax screen restrictions during holidays or special occasions. You can turn it off anytime or set an end date—your choice.
To enable Vacation Mode, go to Scheduling > scroll down to Vacation Mode (Advanced Settings) > toggle it ON, customize your options, and tap Save.
