How do Zoobly Schedules work?
Zoobly's ‘Scheduling’ feature helps you manage when and how your child uses their mobile device. You can create custom schedules that control access to apps, websites, and web categories at specific times — helping your child build healthy digital habits.
By default, Zoobly offers two preset schedules - School and Sleep. You can always add, customize, or disable schedules in the Scheduling tab on your Zoobly app.
Preset Schedules
- School Schedule – Blocks social media, games, entertainment, and shopping sites by default to keep your child focused during school hours. You can edit these settings to suit your child’s needs.
- Sleep Schedule – Pauses device use at bedtime to support healthy routines and better sleep.
For each schedule, you can:
- Set start and end times
- Choose the days for which it applies
- Block specific apps, websites, or categories
- Enable “Block All Content” to block if needed
You can create as many schedules as your family routine requires.
Key Points for Smooth Scheduling
There are a few pointers you need to keep in mind while setting up schedules for your children.
-
Daily Free Time vs. Schedules
Settings under Daily Free Time only apply during Free Time. They do not carry over to preset schedules School or Sleep. Likewise, settings made under a schedule apply only during that schedule. Make sure to adjust Free Time and Schedules settings individually.
-
Website Approvals
If your child requests access to a website and you approve it, that approval applies only to the current schedule or Free Time period. Approvals in one schedule won’t automatically apply to others.
